Defence Minister to hoist national flag to mark Telangana Liberation Day at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hoist the national flag, participate in the parade by central para-military forces at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, and also unveil the statue of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Cantonment Park near Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) on the occasion of Telangana Liberation Day on September 17 (Wednesday).

Union Minister of Coal & Mines G. Kishan Reddy, also Secunderabad MP, Union Minister of Tourism & Culture Gajendra Singh Shekawat, Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao, party MPs and MLAs will be also be present at the programmes. Earlier in the day, Mr. Rao will also be hoisting the national flag at the State party office, as per a press release.
