The death toll has increased to 10, as a 35-year-old security guard, Manjunath, was killed after debris from a neighbouring building collapsed onto his house during the heavy rain on Wednesday, late at night in Chamarajpet.

Seven people died in the wall collapse tragedy at Bowring Hospital, and two died of electrocution, one each on Bannerghatta Road and Shivajinagar, pegging the death toll at nine. It went up to 10 with Manjunath’s death.
