The deadlock over the release of Mammootty-Mohanlal-starrer Patriot directed by Mahesh Narayanan was resolved on Tuesday following talks between Film Exhibitors’ United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) and the producer.

FEUOK representatives wrote to the Kerala Film Producers Association stating that the existing revenue-sharing pattern of 60:40 in favour of the producer and exhibitor respectively would prevail in the first week, followed by 55:45 in the second week. The revenue-sharing pattern will be 50:50 from the third week onwards. The exhibitors’ organisation had earlier refused to release the movie after its producer Anto Joseph had asked for a revenue sharing of 60:40 in the first two weeks of release.
