APCC president Y.S. Sharmila on Sunday (April 19, 2026) criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that the Centre was changing its stance on the Women’s Reservation Bill.
In a statement, she accused the Central Government of linking the issue with delimitation for political gain, and described the Prime Minister as an “opportunist” who brought the delimitation proposal under the guise of women’s empowerment.
