Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced 1,000 square yards of land for the construction of FICCI’s headquarters, next to Shilparamam. Extending greetings to the FICCI Ladies Organisation for celebrating its 25th anniversary — the FICCI itself is completing 100 years in 2027 — the Chief minister also announced the allocation of one acre of land to FICCI within Bharat Future City. The state government is keen to encourage FICCI as a partner in the development of ‘Bharat Future City’, a highly prestigious project undertaken by this government.

Further, the CM said that given the success of the industrial park established under the aegis of the FICCI Ladies Organisation, the government was considering developing another industrial park dedicated to women’s empowerment. He asserted that the economic empowerment of women was the testament to economic growth and higher standards of living.

The Chief Minister also briefed the FICCI delegation about the ‘Vikasit Bharat 2047’ goal of achieving a $30 trillion economy. Telangana, which accounts for 2.5 per cent of the population aimed to increase its share of the national GDP from 5 per cent to 10 per cent. “We set targets of $1 trillion by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.” Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, CM’s Advisor Ramakrishna Rao, FLO National President Pooja Garg, FLO Hyderabad Chairperson Sita Reddy Gaddam, and women entrepreneurs participated in the meeting.
