The 2570th Buddha Purnima was celebrated with devotion at Buddhavanam on Friday, drawing monks, devotees, scholars, tourists and dignitaries from across Telangana. The celebrations unfolded amid traditional Buddhist prayers, chanting and meditation, reflecting the teachings of Gautama Buddha centred on peace, compassion and harmony.

Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, attended as the chief guest and inaugurated a children’s play area on the Buddhavanam premises, aimed at making the site more accessible and engaging for families.
