With the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) registering a decisive victory in the Bihar Assembly polls, the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, in his reaction on Friday (November 14, 2025) referred the verdict to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), an exercise carried out by the Election Commission to clean up the electoral rolls alleging the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) indulged in the game of “deception”.

“The game SIR played in Bihar will no longer be possible in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, or elsewhere because this electoral conspiracy has been exposed. We will not let them play this game any further. Like CCTV, our ‘PPTV’, or ‘PDA Sentinel’, will remain vigilant and thwart the BJP’s plans. The BJP is not a party but a fraud,” wrote Mr. Yadav, on X.

The ruling BJP in Uttar Pradesh said the same electoral performance will be repeated in Uttar Pradesh 2027 polls, adding results of the Bihar Assembly elections have sent a clear and historic message that people will no longer entrust power to those who thrive on mafia rule, casteism, dynastic politics, and appeasement.

“We won Magadha, and we will win Awadh too. We will repeat 2017 in 2027,” said Keshav Prasad Maurya, U.P. Deputy CM.

“Congratulations to the dedicated workers and office bearers of the BJP-NDA alliance for their landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, and greetings to the people. This historic victory is a stamp of the unwavering faith of the people of Bihar in the development-oriented guidance of the respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and the public welfare policies of the double-engine government. This mandate is an endorsement of the path of development, good governance, prosperity and stability on which the new Bihar is moving forward with confidence,” said U.P. CM Yogi Adityanath.

The Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), an ally of the BJP in U.P., in the statement attributed the victory to the public for its unwavering faith in the NDA alliance. “The results of the Bihar Assembly elections have sent a clear and historic message: the people will no longer entrust power to those who thrive on mafia rule, casteism, dynastic politics, and appeasement. Once again, the public has reposed its unwavering faith in the NDA alliance, which stands for good governance, public welfare, inclusive development, and women’s empowerment,” said Anupam Mishra, National Secretary, RLD.

Mr. Mishra added, “The people of Bihar have delivered a decisive mandate against those who indulge in negative politics, shouting baseless slogans of ‘vote theft,’ questioning the very constitutional institutions of our nation, and attempting to mislead society. This verdict is not just an electoral win; it is a powerful endorsement of progress over propaganda, governance over gimmicks, and trust over toxicity.”
