A delegation of BJP leaders on Monday lodged a complaint with the police against Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress office-bearers, accusing them of putting up posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that depicted him in an insulting manner, as part of a conspiracy to trigger a political rebellion against the Centre and the Prime Minister.

The complaint filed by the BJP Bengaluru city office-bearers with Cubbon Park police station stated that the Youth Congress office-bearers had put up a poster in front of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru with the caption “how will a cowardly PM who is scared of coming to Parliament protect the nation”.

This had been done as part of a conspiracy to affect law and order besides instigate a political rebellion, the complainants said and urged the police to arrest those who had put up such posters.
