In an era where education is evolving beyond textbooks and examinations, the role of an educator has become more significant than ever. Students today seek mentors who not only impart knowledge but also inspire confidence, encourage critical thinking, and prepare them to navigate an increasingly dynamic world. Across India’s academic landscape, educators who combine teaching with research, leadership, and social responsibility are helping redefine the purpose of higher education. Among them is Dr. Priyeta Priyadarshini, an academician, researcher, author, and social leader whose work reflects the belief that education should empower individuals to create meaningful change both within their professions and in society.

With more than eighteen years of teaching experience, Dr. Priyeta has dedicated her career to developing future leaders in the field of management and human resources. Her academic journey reflects an unwavering commitment to learning and professional excellence. Holding an MBA from the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and a PhD in Management from ITM University, Raipur, she has consistently pursued opportunities to broaden her knowledge while encouraging the same spirit among her students. Beyond formal education, she has explored diverse disciplines through workshops on storytelling, dream analysis, semi-classical dance, mandala art, and tarot, demonstrating that continuous learning extends far beyond conventional classrooms. This multidisciplinary perspective has enriched her teaching philosophy, making learning more engaging, practical, and relevant for today’s generation.

Currently serving as a faculty member in Human Resource Management at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Management Studies and Research, Navi Mumbai, Dr. Priyeta contributes not only through teaching but also by strengthening institutional development as part of the Placement Cell and as Admissions Head. Alongside her academic responsibilities, she has made significant contributions to research through publications in national and international journals, presentations at academic conferences, authored books in Human Resources and General Management, and chapters in edited volumes. She has also delivered expert sessions on leadership, stress management, motivation, and team building at reputed organisations, including the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority. Her dedication to academic excellence has earned her recognitions such as the Young Researcher Award by InSc Publishers, inclusion in the book Unstoppable: The Women Who Paved the Way, and the prestigious Prof. Indira Pareek Women in Education Award 2025. These achievements reflect not only her scholarly contributions but also her commitment to nurturing future professionals through meaningful education.

What truly distinguishes Dr. Priyeta, however, is her belief that education and social responsibility must go hand in hand. As the Past President of the Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Hillside, she has led initiatives that have created tangible impact across communities. Under her leadership, the club successfully completed 142 community projects focused on education, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, healthcare, and social welfare, earning recognition as one of Navi Mumbai’s leading Rotary clubs. Her journey illustrates that leadership is not measured solely by professional accomplishments but by the positive difference one creates in the lives of others. Supported by her family and inspired by a lifelong commitment to learning, Dr. Priyeta Priyadarshini continues to motivate students, educators, and community leaders alike. Her story stands as a reminder that true success lies not only in achieving excellence but also in using knowledge, compassion, and leadership to empower others and contribute meaningfully to society.
