Bengaluru police seize 250 vehicles plying without documents

The city police have been conducting an area domination exercise and blockade at strategic locations across the city. On Friday night, they seized as many as 250 vehicles plying without proper documentation and detected 11 vehicle theft cases.

Apart from drunken driving cases, police have registered 16 narcotics cases during the special drive.

According to the officials, as many as 1000 police personnel were deployed across the city for area domination operations and blockade on Friday night. Officials inspected more than 5000 vehicles, out of which 250 vehicles were seized for violations of rules and lack of proper documents.
