An eight-day bansuri pilgrimage, to be led by Himanshu Nanda, a senior disciple of Pandit Hariprasad Chourasia, will be held at Chinmaya International Foundation at Veliyanad, Kochi. The event will run from December 23 to 30.

Titled ‘Invitation to God’s Own Country’, the residential workshop being organised by The Mystic Bamboo, Pune, promises an enriching musical journey rooted in tradition, discipline, and the spiritual exploration of Nāda.

The event will cover tonal development, breath and sound techniques, fingering mastery, alankars, raga improvisation, rhythm techniques, and the philosophy behind Hindustani music. Bansuri meditation sessions and student performances are also arranged.
