A Jan Aushadi Kendra (Generic Medical Store) was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar at Mukarampura Doctor’s Street in Karimnagar on Saturday (March 21, 2026).
The ECHS empanelled outlet has been set up under the Central government’s Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana scheme, a press release said.
The initiative is aimed at providing quality generic medicines at much lower prices when compared to the market prices. Karimnagar Mayor K. Srinivas and several other corporators of the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation, among others were present.
