Awareness sessions on POSH held at Vizag school

Two awareness sessions on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace) were conducted for the teaching and non-teaching staff of Silver Oaks International School, Kommadi campus, on Thursday.

The sessions were conducted by Seema Sikri, Associate Director of Visakhapatnam City Security Council (VCSC).

The sessions covered key aspects of the POSH Act and guidelines, including formation and role of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), understanding physical, mental, and non-verbal harassment, reporting mechanisms and grievance redressal procedures, and discussion of relevant case studies to enhance practical understanding.

The participants were engaged throughout the sessions interacting and contributing to the discussions with great enthusiasm.
