Two key committee meetings of the Assembly are scheduled to be held later this month, according to Assembly Secretary General Prasannakumar Suryadevara.

A Special House Committee meeting will be convened on February 24 at Committee Hall-1 in the Assembly Building Complex at Velagapudi, after the conclusion of the Assembly session. The committee had been constituted to inquire into alleged irregularities and corruption in the Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB), District Cooperative Central Banks (DCCBs) and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) between 2019 and 2024.

Additionally, the Petitions Committee will meet on February 27 in the Assembly Committee Hall. The committee will examine a petition submitted by MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao regarding the implementation of Gram Sabha resolutions on land allotment by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), according to a press release.
