Winners of international sailing competition felicitated

Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Saturday felicitated the winners of the India International Youth Sailing Championship 2026. The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu organised the competition at the Chennai Port from January 6 to 9. A total of 87 sailors from eight countries, aged between 12 and 18, took part in the competition. Of them, 27 sailors representing India were from Tamil Nadu. The Indian team topped the medal tally with 12 medals, including six gold, three silver and three bronze. Mr. Udhayanidhi felicitated the winners at a function held in Chennai.
