The Indian Army organised the Vijay Diwas ‘At Home’ at the Army House on Monday (December 15, 2025), to commemorate Vijay Diwas, marking the decisive victory of the Indian Armed Forces in the 1971 War.

The event was attended by President Droupadi Murmu.

The Defence Ministry said that the celebrations featured a showcase of indigenously developed technologies and niche capabilities, highlighting the Indian Army’s steady transformation into a modern, innovative and self-reliant force. The displays reflected the growing synergy between Indian soldiers, engineers, startups and academic institutions in developing cutting-edge solutions to strengthen national security.

A wide range of homegrown equipment and innovations was exhibited, underscoring the Army’s journey towards becoming a future-ready force. Several of the showcased technologies demonstrated dual-use potential, contributing to disaster response, infrastructure development and sustainability, the Ministry said.
