The Byadarahalli police have registered a case of vandalism against a group of people who damaged over 30 vehicles parked on the roadside in Byadarahalli and Annapoorneshwari Nagar in the wee hours of Thursday.
The accused wearing hooded sweatshirts armed with clubs and lethal weapons moved around Valmiki Nagar and Muddinapalya, smashed the windshields of the vehicles including cars and goods vehicles. The incident came to light in the morning when residents noticed their cars damaged and complained to the police.
Based on the complaint, the police have gathered CCTV camera footage from in and around the area to identify the accused. We have some clues and efforts are on to track down the accused, a police official said.
