The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and Overseas Manpower Company A.P. (OMCAP) have partnered with Europe Careers, Germany, through a Letter of Intent to strengthen global employment opportunities for youth from the State in the healthcare sector.

According to a press note released by the corporation on Tuesday (November 11, 2025), the collaboration aims to bridge the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals in Germany, which is facing shortages of nurses, physiotherapists, medical laboratory technicians, operation theatre technicians, dialysis technicians, and other paramedical roles.

As part of the partnership, Europe Careers will share workforce requirements directly with OMCAP, which will serve as the official facilitating and regulatory agency for all international placements under the Government of Andhra Pradesh framework.

The OMCAP will manage recruitment, candidate verification, contract facilitation, and safe migration to ensure transparent and ethical placements. The APSSDC will lead candidate mobilisation, counselling, and screening.

Europe Careers will provide complete German language training (A1–B2), support professional recognition, coordinate hospital interviews and job contracts, and assist with visa processing, travel arrangements, and onboarding in Germany to ensure candidates are fully prepared and successfully placed.

Manohar Devapatla, Executive Director, APSSDC, and General Manager, OMCAP, said that the partnership reflects the Andhra Pradesh government’s commitment to preparing youth for global employability and connecting them to sustainable, high-growth careers in international healthcare.
