The son of Jammalamadugu BJP MLA, Adinarayana Reddy, tested positive for marijuana during an inspection conducted by the EAGLE team in Nanakramguda. Jammalamadugu is in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.

Following a drug test during the inspection, the MLA’s son, Sudheer Reddy, found to have consumed marijuana, according to sources connected to the development. The inspection was part of routine checks being carried out by the EAGLE team at identified locations in Hyderabad.

The Police said that Sudheer Reddy was later shifted to a de-addiction centre by his family doctor for treatment and counselling. Officials added that standard procedures were followed during the inspection and testing.
