The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has invited bids for construction of an 8.75-km elevated corridor from the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at Banjara Hills to the Shilpa Layout flyover road at an estimated cost of ₹1,334.87 crore.

The project, to be taken up under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) turnkey system, will include survey, investigation, design and construction of the corridor, along with road widening and reconstruction works. The tender provides for a combination of four-lane and six-lane elevated sections, ramps and stretches of road at ground level.

The corridor will have a six-lane elevated section with provisions for entry and exit ramps at several locations. A space of about 200 metres by 20 metres has also been earmarked for possible future development of a viewing gallery.

HMDA has specified 24 months for completion of the project, including the monsoon period and shifting of utilities. Last date for bids is October 5. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 22 at the office of the Chief Engineer, HMDA.
