Accusing the YSRCP cadres of resorting to unlawful behaviour, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has said that activities flaring up tensions and faction feuds will not be tolerated. “The anti-social elements will be dealt with an iron feast,” she warned.

Referring to the reported animal sacrifices in full public view during birthday celebrations of YSRCP president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Home Minister came down heavily on the YSRCP for trying to create panic among the public with such activities.

“Birthday parties are celebrated with chocolates, sweets, cakes and fruits, and not with knives and hunting sickles as was done by the YSRCP activists. I request the youth not to involve themselves in such anti-social activities,” Ms. Anitha said on Saturday.
