“A Revenue Inspector posted in Rajasthan‘s Barmer district was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹18,000,”’ officials said on Saturday (June 6, 2026). The accused, identified as Dhanraj, was posted in Sedwa tehsil.

According to an ACB official, a complainant alleged that Dhanraj had demanded ₹32,000 for carrying out the demarcation of his land. After verifying the complaint, an ACB team laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed late on Friday (June 5, 2026) night while allegedly accepting ₹18,000 from the complainant.

The Bureau said the accused had already accepted ₹12,000 from the complainant earlier as part of the alleged bribe amount. “Further investigation is under way,” the official said.
