All employees, including teaching staff, of the Orthodontics department at Kannur Dental College, Anjarakandy have reportedly submitted their resignations in the wake of intensified protest following the death of student R.L. Nithin Raj, even as the management is yet to accept the resignations.

A total of seven staff members from the department have resigned together, marking a significant development in the ongoing unrest on the campus. The mass resignation comes amid mounting allegations by students against certain teachers and staff, who they hold responsible for the circumstances leading to Nithin Raj’s death.
