Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly K. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju has hinted at the Assembly sessions being held from the second or third week of February 2026.

Speaking to media persons, who met him in Visakhapatnam on Sunday (January 18, 2026), the Deputy Speaker hoped that the YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and the ten MLAs of that party would attend the Assembly. He said that the Ethics Committee was dealing with the issue of MLA s drawing their salaries but not attending the Assembly.
He said the Members, who fail to attend the Assembly for more than 60 days at a stretch would be disqualified. However, attendance even for a single day in between would be enough to avoid any action.
