Historian Madan Gupta said that ancient knowledge needed to be protected very carefully for the development of the nation since the Indian knowledge system was systematically destroyed during regimes of various kings and British Governments which ruled the country for more than 1000 years. He gave a lecture on ‘Apurva Bharatam and The timeless technological heritage of the country in SITAM College on Saturday (December 27, 2025).

He lauded the government’s plan to preserve manuscripts with the support of several Indian Institute of Technologies in the country. SITAM College Director Majji Sasibhusana Rao hailed Mr. Madan Gupta’s initiative in writing books such as Apurva Bharatam which is being translated into several languages by the government and other organisations. Bharatiya Tatva Darshana Kendra founder Durga Balaji, Samskruti magazine editor Sirela Sanyasi Rao and others were present.
