Agriculture and Marketing Minister and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema District In-Charge Minister K. Atchannaidu, has directed officials to prepare to manage the huge gathering of devotees from across the State during the annual celestial wedding at Sri Lakshmi Narasima Swamy temple at Antarvedi in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.
The ceremony will be held on January 28 and the procession of the chariot is scheduled for the next day. On January 30, thousands of devotees will take a holy dip at the confluence point of the river Godavari into the Bay of Bengal near the temple. At least 1,350 police personnel will be deployed for the four-day ceremony.
