Advocate Mini T.B., who represented the survivor in the 2017 actor assault case, has come out against actor Dileep, accusing him and his accomplices of cyberbullying and intimidating her after the Principal Sessions Court, Ernakulam, acquitted Mr. Dileep, along with two others, in the case.
“The cyberattack and intimidation against me by Mr. Dileep and his gang prove that I was right. I don’t intend to get tired,” Ms. Mini said in a social media post on Wednesday (December 10, 2025), two days after the verdict. Earlier in another post, she questioned an alleged social media campaign that alleged her of saying that “it was ok if Dileep had raped.” She said her words were being circulated out of context. “I have only sympathy for those who have taken my words out of context and celebrating them. I was only explaining the gravity of the crime he had committed. Rape itself is the crime and when someone commissions another person to do that it becomes ‘double rape’,” she wrote.
“I’m someone who thinks I’m the survivor woman,” she said. Ms. Mini said the intention of those attacking her was to defame her since she had worked tirelessly to ensure justice for the survivor whom she considered her own sister. “I won’t be shaken with all that. Kerala society doesn’t belong to criminals,” she wrote.
Following the acquittal of Mr. Dileep, Ms. Mini has repeatedly maintained that she will respond to the verdict only after December 12 when Honey M. Varghese, Ernakulam Principal Sessions Judge, is scheduled to sentence the six convicts in the case, including prime convict N.S. Sunil, alias ‘Pulsar’ Suni. The full order is expected to be out on the day.
