About 60,000 students from 350 colleges spread across 28 Indian States and 60 countries participated in Milan, the annual student-driven cultural festival organised by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The four-day fest, held on the theme Live the Change: Indian Maximalism, kicked off at the institution’s Kattankulathur campus on February 19. Each evening of the fest was marked by performances by an impressive line-up of celebrity musicians and artistes.

T.R. Paarivendhar, founder-chancellor, SRM Group, observed that platforms such as these enable students to explore their creative potential, strengthen team-building skills, transform their ideas into reality through execution, and help them grow into confident leaders.

Among those present at the inaugural were Padma Priya Ravi Pachamuthu, Vice Chairperson, SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Mani Mangai Sathyanarayanan, Managing Director, SRM Global Hospitals, C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice Chancellor, SRMIST, S. Ponnusamy, Registrar, SRMIST, and Nisha Ashokan, Director of Student Affairs, SRMIST.
