A 36-year-old woman died after falling from the 12th floor of an apartment building in Kondapur on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Aparna Anmol Arun, 36, who was residing with her husband, Anmol Kumar, at SMR Vinay Iconia in Kondapur.

According to the complaint lodged by her younger brother, Avinash Arun, the family was informed at around 10.30 p.m. on July 3 that Aparna had fallen from the 12th floor of the apartment complex. She later succumbed to her injuries.

In his complaint, Avinash stated that his sister had been under severe mental stress due to the medical condition of her six-year-old daughter, who is autistic and non-verbal.

Upon receiving the information, the Gachibowli police rushed to the spot and shifted the body for postmortem examination.

A case has been booked and further investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death are underway.
