An additional assistant engineer of the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday while accepting a ₹25,000 bribe.
The accused, identified as B. Rama Krishna Reddy, working in IDA Bollaram, Sangareddy district, was trapped by ACB officials near his office.

Following the trap, the official was taken into custody and was produced before the special court for SPE and ACB cases in Hyderabad.
Further investigation into the case is underway. The identity of the complainant has been withheld for security reasons.
The agency urged members of the public to report instances of bribery involving public servants through its toll-free helpline 1064, assuring that the identity of complainants would be kept confidential.
