The government effected a major reshuffle of IAS and non-cadre officers, including key changes in the Metropolitan Area and Urban Development department and a large-scale reorganisation of Zonal Commissioners in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

Senior IAS officer Jayesh Ranjan (1992 batch) has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Metropolitan Area and Urban Development (within HMDA limits). He will, however, continue to hold the additional charge of Special Chief Secretary for Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture (YAT&C), Sports, and Director of Archaeology.

Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao will retain full additional charge as Special Chief Secretary and CEO of the Industry and Investment Cell in the Chief Minister’s Office, including the Smart Proactive Efficient and Effective Delivery (SPEED) initiative.

The government notified transfers and postings of Zonal Commissioners across GHMC limits. In district administration changes, M. Haritha, Collector of Rajanna Sircilla, has been posted as Secretary, TGPSC, replacing Priyanka Ala. E.V. Narsimha Reddy has been posted as Managing Director of the Musi River Development Corporation Limited (MRDCL).
