Father’s bid to scare son with petrol backfires, both suffer burns

A 45-year-old construction labourer’s attempt to scare his teenage son turned tragic after both sustained burn injuries in a fire at Pragathipura, under the Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station limits, on Friday (May 1) night.

The injured persons have been identified as Anand, 45, a mason, and his son Mallikarjun, 19, who works at a tiles company.
