Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has launched an Institute-Industry Connect Portal, a new initiative by the government to help build a strong link between colleges and industries, making it easier for students to get internships and placements in companies.

In a statement, APSCHE Secretary B. Tirupathi Rao said industries that are interested in offering internships can register themselves from October 5 to October 22, 2025 on the Institute-Industry Connect Portal (www.iic.apsche.ap.gov.in) by filling in the form.

Companies offering either stipend or unpaid internships would be approved and allowed to post their internship opportunities on the portal, he said, adding that once approved they can start the internships.

Meanwhile, the APSCHE has released the operating guidelines for the admission process of Common Entrance Tests (CETs)- 2025, in compliance with the orders of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

These guidelines provide programme-wise CET admissions, local and non-local status, reservations in admissions, programme-wise allotment of seats, instructions to the managements of the colleges, prerequisites for participating in web-based admissions by the students, procedure of admissions (convener, spot and management quotas), compliance of admission process by the managements and schedule of tests and admissions.

All colleges and students must comply with the operating guidelines, said Mr. Tirupathi Rao.
