Tamil Nadu Director General of Police and Head of Police Force Sandeep Rai Rathore has directed police personnel serving in special units on deputation to return to their parent units for election duty between April 21 and April 24.
In a circular to zonal heads and unit officers, Mr. Rathore instructed that personnel posted in special branches and other deputation assignments be redeployed to their original units to bolster security arrangements for the elections across the State.
