K. Vijayanand takes charge as ex-officio Special CS to CM

Senior IAS officer K. Vijayanand assumed charge as Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister at the Secretariat on Monday, days after demitting office as Chief Secretary on February 28. Vedic scholars from Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams offered traditional blessings on the occasion. Senior officials, heads of departments and representatives of employees associations greeted Mr. Vijayanand and conveyed their best wishes on his new assignment.
