Traffic for vehicles including trucks and lorries will be diverted on key stretches including Chennai – Bengaluru Highway (NH 48) in Tirupattur district on February 14 due to Chief Minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin’s visit to the district.

According to a press release, traffic diversion for vehicles is aimed at facilitating free flow of traffic on key routes in the district during the Chief Minister’s visit.

As per plan, vehicles coming from Vellore, Ambur, and Vaniyambadi towns towards Tirupattur town should avoid taking the Tirupattur Main Road. Instead, the vehicles should take the Link Road of Chennai – Bengaluru Highway (NH 48) to go to Tirupattur town.

Similarly, vehicles from Tirupattur town proceeding towards Vaniyambadi, Ambur, and Vellore towns should use Vengalapuram Koot Road – Madapalli – Alangayam to reach these towns.

Buses to Dharmapuri, Bengaluru, Krishnagiri, and Hosur will be operated at Krishna Silks in Tirupattur. Likewise, buses to Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Salem, and Chennai will be operated from the bus depot in Tirupattur.
