The Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival is set to mark its 20th edition this November. Organised in collaboration with Telangana Tourism and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), the festival will run from November 7 to 30 across multiple venues in the city.

Curated by Mohammad Ali Baig, the annual festival stands as a tribute to his father’s contributions to Indian theatre.  This year’s performances and screenings will take place at Taramati Baradari, State Art Gallery, Shilparamam, and Radisson Blu Plaza.

The 2025 edition will open at Radisson Blu Plaza with screenings of OutHouse featuring Sharmila Tagore, Mohan Agashe and Sonali Kulkarni; B. Narsing Rao’s Matti Manshulu featuring Moin Ali Baig and Neena Gupta; and Ananya Kasaravalli’s Harikatha Prasanga.

“I am delighted that the Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival is opening with a film that I have headlined,” said veteran actor Sharmila Tagore.
