With the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara approaching, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Saturday inspected key areas in Tirumala and emphasised the need to harness technology to extend better services to the large number of pilgrims visiting the hill town.

During his visit to the Common Command Control Centre, he directed officials to adopt modern software and advanced tools to improve efficiency. He underlined the importance of strengthening the tracing mechanism for missing persons by expediting the process and strategically deploying staff for enhanced surveillance. Mr. Singhal also instructed officials to implement facial recognition technology for real-time identification and incident monitoring. He reviewed the centre’s operations along with Larsen & Toubro staff.

Later, he inspected the luggage centres and interacted with devotees, who expressed satisfaction with the present arrangements.

At Vaikuntham Queue Complex–II, Mr. Singhal reviewed amenities, interacted with Srivari Sevaks, and instructed Chief PRO T. Ravi to provide enhanced training for them to improve the quality of assistance offered to devotees.

Senior officials including CVSO Muralikrishna, Deputy EO (Health) Somanarayana, Vigilance and Security Officers Ram Kumar and Surendra, and Health Officer Madhusudhan accompanied him during the inspections.
