Contributions to NSNOP initiative touch ₹1,000 crore; CM Stalin thanks those who made contributions

As contributions to the ‘Namma School, Namma Ooru Palli’ (NSNOP) initiative touched ₹1,000 crore, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin thanked all those who donated for this initiative.

In a social media post, Mr. Stalin recalled contributing ₹5 lakh for commencing this initiative and said contributions have been utilised for setting up laboratories, smart classrooms, amenities in schools.

Mr. Stalin thanked the 885 organisations/institutions and about 1,500 individuals who have contributed to the initiative. He also commended Minister for School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and NSNOP chairperson Venu Srinivasan.
