Wings India 2026, Asia’s largest civil aviation event, is set to be inaugurated at the Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad on January 28.

The four-day global gathering, scheduled from January 28 to 31 will be formally inaugurated by Union Minister of Civil Aviation Rammohan Naidu in the presence of high-level dignitaries from India and abroad.

The event, centred on the theme ‘Indian Aviation: Paving the Future – From Design to Deployment, Manufacturing to Maintenance, Inclusivity to Innovation and Safety to Sustainability,’ is expected to reflect India’s rapidly expanding aviation footprint.

Wings India 2026 will bring together ministerial-level foreign delegations and senior government officials from several countries, alongside official delegations from more than 20 nations. Indian states will also showcase investment opportunities and infrastructure projects. The event will feature an expansive international exhibition, static aircraft displays, flying and aerobatic shows.

The conference will comprise 13 thematic sessions in addition to a Global CEOs Forum and a Ministerial Plenary. Wings India 2026 will also feature static aircraft displays, live flying demonstrations, including aerial displays by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team of the Indian Air Force.

An aviation job fair will connect industry players with young professionals and skilled talent, while a specially curated Civil Aviation Innovation Challenge for students will aim to promote problem-solving, innovation and industry-oriented thinking among the next generation of aviation professionals.
