Ayyappa Paniker Snehasangamam to be held

Ayyappa Paniker Foundation in collaboration with Vismayamax Animations is organising ‘Ayyappa Paniker Snehasangamam 2025’ to commemorate poet Ayyappa Paniker, who pioneered modernism in Malayalam poetry. The event will take place on Saturday on the Vismayamax campus.  

The proceedings will begin with a poets’ meet (Kaviyarangu) at 3. 30 p.m., which will be inaugurated by poet Prabha Varma. This will be followed by a commemorative conference at 5.00 p.m., presided over by the foundation’s president T.P. Sreenivasan, former Ambassador. Orator Sunil P. Ilayidom will deliver the keynote address on the topic, ‘The Poetry of Ayyappa Paniker and the Politics of Modernism.’
