Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to address the election campaign meeting to be held near Nanguneri on Monday (April 20, 2026). Mr. Gandhi, after his electioneering at Colachel in Kanniyakumari district, will address the voters to canvass votes for Congress candidate for this constituency Ruby R. Manoharan and other Secular Progressive Alliance candidates fielded in Tirunelveli and Tenkasi districts.

Meanwhile, in a major push ahead of the forthcoming elections in Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, will embark on a two-day campaign tour in the neighbouring State, as part of the NDA’s intensified outreach.

In West Bengal, the Prime Minister addressed rallies at Bankura, Purulia, Jhargram, and Paschim Medinipur, where he criticised Trinamool Congress government on several fronts, and called West Bengal’s ruling party “anti-tribal”.
