The BJP organised Janata Varadhi programme at the Collectorate here on Monday. BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav received grievances and later submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Collector S. Ilakkiya.

Addressing media persons, Mr. Madhav said the Janata Varadhi programme was launched by the party at all district headquarters to act as a bridge between the citizens and the government. He assured the people that the government would solve their problems in the least possible time and focus was laid on sorting out Revenue Department related issues.

People were facing significant hardships due to the placing of their lands under Section 22-A of the Registration Act and the lack of proper registrations, he pointed out.

Mr. Madhav noted that the coalition government was also resolving issues through WhatsApp Governance, and expressed concern over the rising pollution in Vijayawada city. The government accorded due priority to curbing the drug menace, he said, adding that the programme would be conducted at mandal level soon.
