Over 200 students take part in neurology conference in Vijayawada

Over 200 people, including doctors and students, participated in the neurology and neurosurgery scientific conference, organised by the A.P. Neuroscientists’ Association at Siddhartha Medical College (SMC) in Vijayawada on Saturday (November 22).

Director of Medical Education G. Raghunandan, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences registrar V. Radhika Reddy, SMC principal A.Y. Rao, Neurological Society of India national president Manas Panigrahi, SMC neurosurgery HoD I. Babji Shyam Kumar were present in the inaugural event.

Later, speaking on the occasion, Dr. Raghunandan pointed out that such sessions help students grasp the subjects better. A presentation was made on neurology and neuro surgery cases, and experts discussed Cervical compressive myelopathy.
