University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad has organised the 34th Intercollegiate Youth festival at Farmers’ Knowledge Centre on its campus from November 21 to 24.
The youth festival was inaugurated Seek Foundation Chairperson K. Purushottam Rao. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. P.L. Patil will preside over the event.
Students of various constituent colleges of UAS, Dharwad will be competing with each other in 20 different events, including music, arts, and theatre events.
Dean of UAS, Prof. Shripad Kulkarni said that this festival aims to promote creativity, language skills, leadership skills and enhance the knowledge of students about fine arts.
The valedictory ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. on November 24. Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swami of Hiremath, Hukkeri is expected to attend the ceremony.
