Around 28 students from Sri Venkateswara Ayurvedic College were admitted to TTD’s Central Hospital after reporting food poisoning with symptoms of diarrhea, nausea, and mild abdominal pain after consuming food at the hostel on Monday (July 27, 2026). According to reports, three students were referred to SVIMS for consultation and were sent home.
The condition of the students was stated to be stable, according to the final medical report.
TTD’s Joint Executive Officer A. Sharath told the media that the management provided prompt medical care following mild health complaints. He rushed to the central hospital on Tuesday (July 28), interacted with the students, reviewed the care being provided to them, and enquired about their health.
The TTD’s Chief Medical Officer stated that the students responded well to the treatment and were discharged after doctors confirmed that their condition was stable.
