Within days after a Kerala trekker was safely rescued in Kodagu after being missing for four days, a 15-year-old girl from Palakkad in Kerala has gone missing during a visit to Chikkamagaluru.
The girl was on a trip to Chikkamagaluru along with her family members. She reportedly went missing near Manikyadhara, a popular waterfall in Bababudangiri Hills.
Chikkamagaluru Police said that they received information about the development, though no formal case registered. The place where the girl went missing is a tourist spot, not the forest area, according to the forest officials.
