A 22-year-old youth was killed and another severely injured after the motorcycle they were riding rammed a metro pillar at Muttom near Kalamassery on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Bilal, a native of Konni in Pathanamthitta. The accident occurred in the early hours of Monday when the youth reportedly lost control of the bike. He died on the spot, said police sources.
Sreeram, a native of Kollam, who was pillion riding, was admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital, Kalamassery, as he suffered head injuries in the accident.
