TDP national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday (June 25, 2026) said the party’s success in the ensuing local body elections will depend on the efforts of the cadre and leaders at the grassroots level, and on public outreach. He asked them to work in tandem for the party’s victory in the elections.

Mr. Naidu, on the second day of his tour of Kurnool district, held a review meeting with TDP functionaries at Madhavaram in Mantralayam constituency. He asked every party worker to act like a soldier in the battle for electoral success. “I will lead from the front as the commander,” he said, and asked the cadre to strengthen the party at every level.

After taking part in the inauguration of the newly set up crest gates of the Tungabhadra dam, Mr. Naidu arrived at Madhavaram, where he was accorded a rousing welcome by the party’s constituency in-charge N. Raghavendra Reddy.

Mr. Naidu asked the party workers to take the welfare and development programmes directly to the people. He assured them that the government was committed to the development of the western parts of Kurnool district.
