Women’s empowerment in focus as IMS stall at Global Summit venue

The Telangana Rising Global Summit-2047 is featuring nearly 40 stalls showcasing diverse initiatives and innovations. Among them, the Indira Mahila Shakti stall is set to be the main attraction, symbolizing women’s empowerment and the State government’s commitment to gender equality and economic progress.

Jointly organised by the SERP and the Women and Child Welfare Department, the stall will highlight pioneering efforts under the Indira Mahila Shakti programme. Visitors can explore success stories of women self-help groups (SHGs) engaged in ventures such as women-run petrol pumps, the Indira Mahila Shakti Bazaar in Hitec City, canteens, district-level infrastructure projects, and RTC rental bus operations.
